Enable Copilot in Viva Goals

Microsoft Copilot in Viva Goals lets you leverage generative AI to help set business goals and align teams to your organization’s strategic priorities. It also offers in-app guidance to users for creating, refining, and summarizing goals, as well as for sharing goals updates.

Licensing requirements

Customers with a Viva Suite or Viva Goals Standalone license, or a trial version of either, can activate Copilot in the Viva Goals admin center.

Configure Copilot in Viva Goals

Microsoft 365 Global administrators have complete control over the rollout of Copilot in Viva Goals within their organizations. They can access Copilot settings from the Viva Goals admin center.

1. To access the Copilot settings, go to the Viva Goals admin center.

   

2. Go to General > Who can see Viva Goals Copilot in tenant? and choose who you want to be able to use Copilot in your organization. The "Anyone" option is selected by default, but you can disable Copilot or enable it for specific users or groups.

   

3. Select Save.
