SITUATION:

Have a restricted accessed folder / subfolder area. Bidders access 'common' data to compile their bids, then post to their OWN subfolder.

WHY Can this person, who is restricted to only 1 of 10 subfolders, be able to SEE the 'COUNT' of Items in the FILE SIZE (they can tell there are 10 items in this area, from the info in the FILE SIZE column).

... they can only see their 1 folder when they access the top-level folder. But they SHOULD NOT be able to see the count of folders / items they do not have access to ... please adivse.

Filz size column shows the count of all items in the top-level folder. It is not affected by permissions.

In the SharePoint, permissions have site, list/library, item/file level, it does not have column level.
